Adult Addiction Groups

We provide a wide range of group therapy programs designed to support you in building lasting change. In our groups, you’ll gain practical skills for recovery while strengthening communication, relationships and goal-setting. As you progress, you’ll also have access to aftercare groups that help you stay on track, with a strong focus on relapse prevention and ongoing support. Addiction groups are offered at our South Bend or Elkhart locations and include:

Intensive Group Therapy

This group helps you understand how addiction affects the brain and body, while teaching you to recognize triggers and manage cravings. You’ll gain practical recovery skills, explore community resources and build tools to support lasting sobriety. This is an intensive group and meets three times a week for at least 24 sessions, with morning and evening groups available.

South Bend

  • Morning IGT – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday – 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Evening IGT – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday – 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

Elkhart

  • Morning IGT – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday – 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • Evening IGT – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday – 5 p.m.-8 p.m.

Aftercare

Aftercare is the next step after Intensive Group Therapy, giving you a smaller, supportive space to focus on relapse prevention and receive personalized feedback. The program includes 26 sessions (about 6 months), though you are encouraged to continue for longer for additional support.

Dual Diagnosis

This group is designed to help you manage both mental health challenges and substance use together, so you can feel more stable and supported in daily life. We use a proven approach that builds skills, strengthens recovery, and improves quality of life. You’ll start with a couple of one-on-one sessions, then join group meetings four times a week for 10 weeks, followed by weekly Aftercare for continued support.
