Supporting Youth Mental Health

What We Do

SJC Cares is St. Joseph County’s System of Care organization – a group of community collaborators who work together to identify needs and develop solutions to support the mental health of youth and families.

How We Support Youth and Families

  • Bring partners together for a monthly consortium meeting to share resources, information and improve access to care
  • Conduct a mental health needs assessment to identify gaps in our community
  • Host Parent Cafés that provide support and connection for parents
  • Help families engaged in multiple systems get extra support through our Cross System Review Panel
  • Provide education about trauma and its impact on health over the lifespan
  • Provide training and supports for members of the St. Joseph County Partnership for Children
