Recovery Coach Training

Are you living in recovery and interested in becoming certified as an addictions peer recovery coach so you can help others? Oaklawn will host three Certified Addiction Peer Recovery Coach (CAPRC) trainings this year (dates below). CAPRC credentials are for those who are in personal lived experience of recovery from substance use, mental health, co-occurring disorders or the criminal justice system who wish to provide recovery support to those seeking/in recovery from substance use issues. Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to take the state testing for CAPRC-1.
This training takes place over 5 days with a 2 day ethics course to follow. Times are 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day with an hour break for lunch, and are conducted via Zoom.
